After three attempts, the 2021 Derrick King Golf day finally took place on Friday 21st August 2021 at Southerndown Golf Club. Dale Building Maintenance Ltd supported the event in aid of Velindre Cancer Care by sponsoring the challenging first hole at the prestigious links golf course. The day was a huge success raising £12,000 for Velindre Cancer Centre.
Managing Director Iwan Davies who played in the event had this to say:
“Derrick was a fantastic gentleman who always had a smile on his face. He was loved by everyone and to finally hold the event in his honour was fantastic. We have all had a challenging 18 months and to get everyone together and raise a fantastic sum of money for a brilliant charity.
